
(Senior) Sustainability Consultant
The Role
We are excited to invite applications for the position of (Senior) Sustainability Consultant at Adelie. In this role, you will work directly with clients across a range of industries, helping them navigate the complexities of sustainability with clarity, purpose, and impact. Projects span a wide spectrum—from climate risk assessments and sustainability reporting (including ESRS and CSRD) to B Corp or EcoVadis certifications and broader ESG strategy development.
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in the sustainability landscape and proven experience in delivering high-quality consultancy work. Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on sustainability strategy, reporting, and impact, building strong relationships and delivering tailored, high-quality consultancy.
Lead or support projects across a wide range of topics including climate risk, ESRS/CSRD reporting, carbon footprinting, and B Corp and EcoVadis certification.
Conduct research and analysis, turning complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
Own and develop a specialist area of interest within Adelie, contributing to thought leadership and service innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, impactful delivery and support knowledge-sharing across the business.
Mentor junior team members and actively contribute to our inclusive, purpose-driven culture and continued growth.
What You Bring
A Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Geography, Economics, or a related field
3 years of experience in sustainability for the private sector
A solid understanding of frameworks such as the SDGs, ISO 14001, GRI, TCFD, SBTi, B Corp and EcoVadis
Experience conducting climate risk assessments and carbon footprinting is a plus
A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable taking ownership of projects and contributing to service development.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
